Class 12 Psychology Question Paper Pattern
The CBSE Class 12 Psychology theory examination paper was of 70 marks and the duration of the examination was three hours. There are mainly 5 types of questions asked in the exam:
1) REMEMBERING: Exhibit memory of previously learned material by recalling facts, terms, basic concepts, and answers.
2) UNDERSTANDING: Demonstrate understanding of facts and ideas by organizing, comparing, translating, interpreting, giving descriptions, and stating main ideas.
3) APPLYING: Solve problems to new situations by applying acquired knowledge, facts, techniques and rules in a different way.
4) ANALYSING AND EVALUATING: Examine and break information into parts by identifying motives or causes. Make inferences and find evidence to support generalizations. Present and defend opinions by making judgments about information, validity of ideas, or quality of work based on a set of criteria.
5) CREATING: Compile information together in a different way by combining elements in a new pattern or proposing alternative solutions.

Class 12 Psychology Question Paper Analysis: Feedback from students
The examination for the Class 12 Psychology paper concluded at 1.30 PM on February 22. Some of the students who appeared for the Psychology paper today said that most of the questions asked in the paper were from the NCERT syllabus. The difficult level of the question paper was tough to moderate. Some of the students said they expect good marks for this paper.
- “The examination was better than expected as we prepared for the worst. There were quite a lot of direct questions. Although I prepared a lot and it paid off, I do feel like I could have done better. If anyone has done thorough preparation, it must’ve been a very easy paper for them.” says Jessica Mariam Aby, Bright Riders School, Abu Dhabi.
