Green tea extracts can reduce fatty liver by 75 per cent – Times of India

Liver is a large organ and one of the most vital ones in the body. It is very important to ensure that it functions properly as it is responsible for handling our toxic load. But in the past few years there has been an unprecedented rise in liver related ailments, fatty liver disease being one of them. There is no particular cure for it and doctors usually prescribe diet changes and exercise. But as per a recent report, people suffering from non-alcoholic fatty liver disease may benefit from regular exercise and by replacing high-calorie beverages with decaffeinated, diet green tea, suggests new research.
