Post Disaster the Border Security Force (BSF) is still active with various social activities in the Kalimath area villages in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. After rescue and relief operations, they gave 3 month rations to all the families in Kalimath villages. They had doctors and medical clinic in the area, today one doctor of the BSF is still seeing patients and giving medicines and is based in one of the village. The Kalimath temple complex wall is being constructed under the supervision of the BSF engineer. They have given school bags to students, are building additional classroom for the school and at present have given a tent to run some classes.
They have constructed toilets in many schools, Renovated Panchyats ghars, restored the damaged water system, constructing trolly rope Bridges, waiting shelter places, etc. in the area. They have to depend on outside labour for construction work as local labour is difficult to find
