The government may look into the service records and accomplishments of the released Emergency Commissioned Officers–ECOs/Short Service Commissioned Officers who were inducted into various civil services-IAS, IFS, IPS, central police and Para military forces. The Indian government may examine having personnel who have served in the Armed Forces and state governments for a minimum of 5 years to be considered for appointment in any All India Civil Services. The government may like to peruse the suggestion for long term policy decision.
