Triyuginarayan Temple

Sacred Overview & Architectural Heritage

Triyuginarayan Temple is one of the most revered Vedic wedding destinations in Sanatana tradition, marking the celestial spot where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati entered holy matrimony in the divine presence of Lord Vishnu as the ritual witness. A perpetual holy flame (Akhand Dhuni) has burned uninterrupted in front of the stone sanctum since the Treta Yuga, earning the temple its title of Akhand Dhuni Mandir. Four sacred holy water kunds (Rudra-kund, Vishnu-kund, Brahma-kund, and Saraswati-kund) encircle the sanctum, where pilgrims offer wood samidha to the eternal fire.
