The Uttarakhand government has announced a comprehensive master plan aimed at enhancing tourism in the border villages of Mana and Niti. This initiative, spearheaded by the INI Design Company, was reviewed recently by District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana, emphasizing sustainable tourism and local community involvement.
Details of the Master Plan
The master plan will focus on the development of various religious and tourist sites within Mana and Niti villages. Key locations set for development include:
- Keshav Prayag
- Mother Murti Temple
- Vyas Cave
- Ganesh Cave
- Bhima Bridge
- Mana Hot Market
- Pandav Chowk
- ITBP Border Narrative
- Ghastholi, among others.
In addition to these sites, the plan also includes the development of the Timarsain Mahadev Temple in Niti, as well as the villages of Malari and Timarsain.
“All stakeholders, including the Army and ITBP, must be fully informed about the proposed projects to ensure effective collaboration,” emphasized District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana.
